Peter is a qualified Chief Engineer and Chartered Marine Engineer, Fellow of IMarEST, Fellow of IIMS and a Certified Civil Expert. He has over 40 years of practical commercial shipping experience, having worked globally at sea, in ship repair, in Superintendency, as a Class Surveyor with Lloyd’s and DNV, and in Ship Building. He is a ‘Surveyor of Ships’ for the Red Ensign Group. He is passionate about training and working to share knowledge and experience through bespoke training courses.

Nica is an experienced Office Manager and Document Controller, with a background in banking, catering and language teaching. Qualified Korean / English and English / Korean teacher.
Working with Broadreach Marine across many projects and helping us prepare for surveys and consultancy work. Booking international travel arrangements and hotels. Preparing office accounts. Setting up and managing Plan Approval processes with the shipyards. Coordinating incoming and outgoing drawings. Preparing for technical meetings. Preparing for sub-contractor Audits and FAT’s. Ordering PPE. Setting up the Site Office for Owners and office procedures. Working closely with the shipyard key personnel for the smooth running of the Site Office with the Site Team.
Sandra worked for 11 years as a senior Business Support Specialist in the UK Business Development team at Lloyd’s Register, based in the Head Offices in London and Southampton. She has expertise in Salesforce customer relationship software development and staff training, company research, data management and sales team coordination.
Sandra has a broad commercial background in marketing services management and as an account manager in commercial printing and mail order companies.
Native tongue English, fluent French and some Spanish and Italian.
Gerry has extensive New Building experience as Project / Site manager, covering various types of vessels ranging from D/F VLCC to Q-Flex LNGC, DF/DE LNGC (No96 and Mk III), MR, LR1/2 tankers with over 27 years of continuous new construction experience in South Korea, China, and the USA.
Experienced in all aspects of both the newbuilding, Marine offshore, Industrial & Repair markets, covering Vendor selection, HR & Cost / Budget, Qualified Lead Coating Specialist (NACE & FROSIO).
Rick is a seasoned, Marine Operations professional with 40+ years hands-on practical experience as US Merchant mariner Tankerman PIC for Dangerous Liquids endorsements. Specialising in vessel-to-vessel transfers and lightering offshore with offshore mooring petroleum ops and submarine hoses.
He has huge experience in Arctic and Sub-Arctic ops, for bulk petroleum and heavy cargoes, with over 200 module moves (load in/out), from Korea, Sakhalin Island, Alaska, and other locations.
Rick is experienced in ballast operations, plan review and execution with stow planning for Ro-Ro’s & Container Ships, and extensive knowledge of IMDG. He is certified Shipyard Competent Person (SCP), confined Space Entry trainer and Site Safety and Management qualifications.
Rick is an experienced Marine Warranty Surveyor, having been involved with several high-value and complex asset moves for offshore newbuilding projects.
Andrai is an experienced and well qualified Marine Engineer and Naval Architect with 20 years of experience in the new ship building field as Owner Superintendent and Classification Surveyor, actively involved in the construction, supervision and delivery of more than 60 vessels, including LNGC’s (Mk III and NO 96) with DFDE and XDF main propulsion, Oil Tankers, Bulk Carriers, Tugboats, OSV, AHTS.
Dedicated to working with Owners and Shipyards in Korea, China and Europe to deliver projects to the highest quality and HSE standards.
Hayden is a former Merchant Marine Deck Officer, having sailed with an Oil Major, and now working in new-build heavy industry projects, both Marine and Offshore.
Hayden has considerable marine heavy industry experience as a Project HSE Management professional from Management System development, implementation and plan execution for major projects.
New build supervision includes HSE constructability, HAZID facilitation and all facets of the risk assessment process from Heavy/Critical lifts to Commissioning Execution.
Captain Moon is an experienced Master Mariner with more than twenty years international command experience on various kinds of vessels.
Five years’ experience as Newbuilding Superintendent working for Owners in the major Korean shipyards. Experienced Class & Statutory Surveyor having worked with GL and DNVGL.
Experienced Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) for special high-value and complex cargos.
Min Woo is a qualified Marine Engineer with 20 years’ experience in Quality and Process Management for Newbuilding Marine in the On and Offshore Sectors. He has extensive work experience throughout Asia and Europe and working across many International Standards.
He has a wealth of experience in commercial vessels, LNGC & FLNG newbuilding engineering systems design approval, vendors auditing, attending FAT’s and site supervision.
He is an ISO 9001 Internal Auditor and experienced Trainer.
Ian is a Certified Chief Engineer and an accomplished and dedicated Marine Construction Engineer, Supervisor and Surveyor with an extensive background in health, safety and environmental management.
Ian has over 35 years’ experience in the shipping and offshore industries. He has worked internationally and extensively in Korea, China and Japan on LNGCs, LPGs, Drill Ships, Tankers and Ro-Ro newbuilding projects.
Ian is recognised as an exceptional problem solver, with a natural aptitude for proactively overcoming day-to-day challenges.
He is confident in leading multidisciplined teams to achieve the highest quality and safety standards for our Ship Owners and Clients.
Sang Bum is a qualified Electrical and Control Engineer with more than 30 years’ experience in the marine industry.
He has a wealth of hands-on practical and design experience from working as a shipyard electrical designer, to DNV Plan Approval & Site Surveyor. More recently, he has utilised his experience to help Ship Owners as a Marine Electrical System & Control Consultant and on-site new building Electrical Supervisor.
He specialises in new building electrical and control system design approval for all types of commercial vessels, LNGCs, Factory Acceptance Tests and on-site supervision during new building and conversion projects.
Elisabeth is a Chartered Marine Engineer with over 25 years of international experience across the maritime, offshore, energy, and defence sectors.
She is a recognised specialist in information assurance, governance, and strategies for marine asset decommissioning.
As a subject matter expert in Maritime IT/OT integration, Secure by Design principles, and cyber risk mitigation, Elisabeth brings deep expertise in regulatory compliance, including IMO, ISO, and various national and international frameworks. Her advanced knowledge spans offshore asset decommissioning, reuse, and lifecycle analysis, supported by extensive experience in technical audits, risk management, and systems engineering.
John has experienced a 45+ year career in the maritime industry as a marine engineer and, latterly, for the past 15 years specialised as a marine consultant, surveyor and expert witness in the highly regulated offshore support sector. He has demonstrated a unique and detailed knowledge of the offshore energy and associated support industry, working in towage, offshore support and marine construction sectors.
John has a wealth of practical experience in marine warranty surveys (heavy lift and pipelaying
operations); statutory and regulatory survey and audits including safety management (CMID; ISM/ISPS);
vessel assurance; on/off hire; acting as client marine representative; marine casualty investigation; project management, including overseeing new build and determining engine and machinery specification and performance; shipbroking, encompassing vessel purchase and sale; negotiating term charters; technical and marine engineering consultancy including expert witness work. John’s experience covers assignments in both the oil & gas and floating offshore wind sectors, and he is qualified with both OPITO and GWO for travelling to offshore installations.
