Our mission

At Broadreach Marine, we deliver excellence in Marine Project Management, Marine Surveying and Technical Consultancy to our global clients.

Through our unique network of well-qualified and experienced multi-disciplined subject matter experts, technical consultants and surveyors across Asia and Europe, we provide high-quality, cost-effective turn-key solutions to the marine industry.

We also provide professional, unbiased technical and contractual advice for dispute resolution, hull and machinery insurance claims, and post-delivery warranty claims, as Independent Consulting Experts.

LNGC Newbuild Project Management

Our prime business activity is the provision of Project Management in the construction of LNGC ships in Korea for oil majors and other international clients. Our staff have many years of new construction project management experience in yards in Singapore, the Philippines, Japan, China, Vietnam, and Korea, as well as refits in Dubai and Europe.

We also provide full newbuild Project Management for all other ship types, such as tankers, bulk carriers, RO-RO / RO-Pax ferries, Passenger Ferries, as well as unique one designs.

Marine Technical Services

Broadreach Marine offers technical services to shipowners and ship management companies covering Plan Approval, Project Management, Technical Consultancy, Marine Surveying, and HSE and Risk Assessments, Superintendency, Refit and Repair Oversight, Surveying (condition surveys, hull, machinery, marine warranty) Vendor Selection Advice and Quality Auditing, and R&D/Business Development.

Our involvement to date covers diverse areas, including advancing technologies within the LNG and other cryogenic cargo markets, technical expert advice in new Cargo Containment systems, re-liquefaction and process control, and evolving propulsion technologies.

Technical Consultancy & Management

With decades of combined knowledge and experience in superintendency, operational management, working alongside shipowners, oil majors, flag authorities, and Classification societies worldwide, our consultants, based in Korea, across Asia and the UK, provide expert support for a multitude of contractual, technical and auditing matters.

Our consultancy services include:

• Pre-contract services for newbuild and refit projects
• Preparation of tender documents and specifications for ship newbuilds and repair projects
• Shipyard and subcontractor pre-qualification Quality & HSE audits
• Advice on technical solutions for through-life ship maintenance

Training courses

We are pleased to be able to offer training programmes to Marine Professionals and organisations including courses under the auspices of these Approved Training Providers: the Nautical Institute (NI), the Institute of Marine Engineers, Science and Technology (IMarEST), and the International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS), offering CPD points and certification.
