Our team recently completed the successful load-out of a former South Korean shipyard Floating Drydock onto a heavy-lift vessel for export to the United States. The scope of work encompassed Marine Warranty Surveys to prepare the Floating Drydock for towage, including sea fastenings and suitability surveys for the towage tugs, culminating in the final load-out onto the heavy-lift vessel.
Throughout April, three of our highly experienced Surveyors made multiple visits to the South Korean shipyard, conducting all necessary surveys in accordance with approved industry standards and engineered plans. Working in close collaboration with the Sellers’ Broker and the Buyer, we ensured the load-out was executed smoothly, safely, and on schedule — delivering this remarkable structure ready for its new operational home in the USA.
