Independent Consulting Expert

Peter Broad is a Certified Expert Witness through Bond Solon and Cardiff University.

He has been employed as an Independent Consulting Expert on several high-profile disputes involving shipowners and shipbuilders, from International Tribunals held at the High Courts in London and through the London Maritime Arbitration Association.

In addition to providing expert advice on Hull and Machinery claims and LNG Cargo Containment design issues, Peter has been retained by a number of shipowners to help deal with post-delivery warranty claims.

In summing up at the end of one arbitration case, in the findings, the Judge stated that (redacted):
